Olympiacos dominated AEK Athens BC 95-68 at the SUNEL Arena, securing their spot in the GBL Finals with a 2-0 lead in the semifinals series. The team of Giorgos Barzokas, despite the absences of Evan Fournier, Khyron Evans Jones, and Tyler Dorsey, dominated the majority of the game and 'cleaned' the promotion without being threatened. Top performer for the 'red and whites' was Donta Hall, who made an excellent appearance with 16 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks, while Sasha Vezenkov added 15 points and seven rebounds. Also valuable was the contribution of Thomas Walkup, Frank Ntilikina, and Nikola Milutinov. From the side of AEK, which completed its season in the championship, stood out James Nnaji with 19 points and Greg Brown with 18 points and eight rebounds. Dimitris Fliounis, just a few days after the loss of his father, had three points, four rebounds, and three assists. The game started with a low pace and a lot of mistakes, but Olympiacos quickly found its rhythm and, with the spearhead of Vezenkov, closed the first quarter at +10 (20-10). The visitors continued to control the game and in the second quarter, increased the difference even to 17 points, before being led to the locker room with a 44-30 lead. The image did not change after the break. The Piraeus team maintained absolute control of the game, with Hall giving energy to both sides of the court, contributing decisively to the increase in the difference above 20 points. The third quarter ended with Olympiacos at +20 (66-46), turning the last quarter into a typical procedure. With the difference remaining at high levels until the end, Olympiacos reached the win easily with 95-68, sealing the ticket to the championship finals.
